WWF Thailand, in collaboration with the Office of Natural Resources and Environmental Policy and Planning (ONEP), the Department of National Parks, Wildlife, and Plant Conservation (DNP), the Royal Forest Department (RFD), the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources (DMCR), and IUCN Thailand, is leading the national dialogue on Other Effective Area-Based Conservation Measures (OECMs). This initiative aims to enhance the ecological integrity and biodiversity values of the designated target landscape through a blend of scientific research, policy development, and protected area management support. A key priority of the initiative is to ensure social inclusivity by actively engaging local communities and relevant stakeholders at the site level.
