SMART Patrol

The Kaeng Krachan Forest Complex Wildlife Conservation Project, led by WWF Thailand in collaboration with government and private sector agencies, aims to enhance knowledge through training programs. These programs cover wildlife information, data collection (SMART Patrol), and additional training in qualitative patrolling skills. Park rangers will receive training in the use of maps, compasses, and Geographic Information System (GPS) devices. Furthermore, the project supports the provision of field equipment for the rangers’ operations beyond the core budget of their affiliated agencies, as well as supplies for their monthly patrol missions.
