Background – In collaboration with the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation (DNP), the Eyes on the Forest (EoF) project has been monitoring forest condition changes since July 2019, with its pilot area located in Kaeng Krung National Park, within the Khlong Saeng-Khao Sok Forest Complex under the supervision of Protected Areas Regional Office 4 (Surat Thani). The project’s primary objective is to generate reliable data on forest conditions to support effective forest resource management, detect and prevent illegal changes, and provide essential information for delineating provisional settlement areas designated for communities who depend on the land for subsistence and habitation, in accordance with Section 64 of the National Parks Act B.E. 2562 (2019). Furthermore, the project contributes to wildlife management, forest restoration through enrichment planting, and the promotion of participatory community-based approaches to conservation
What we do – The EoF project, various technological systems have been integrated into the operations of the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation to enhance work efficiency. These include the application of forest condition data through remote sensing and Geographic Information Systems (GIS), analysis of forest conditions using data from relevant agencies, and the production of high-resolution forest imagery (Very High-Resolution Imagery: VHR) through Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). The project has been piloted in Kaeng Krung National Park, Surat Thani Province, and Kui Buri National Park, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, serving as demonstration sites for the application of these technologies in protected area management and conservation.
The management of operational databases for areas monitored by UAV and satellite systems has been completed. The database management system, referred to as the Geo-spatial Conservation Database (GCD), has been developed and implemented through both web and mobile applications and is currently undergoing testing by relevant stakeholders in accordance with the project objectives.
Wildlife resource management within the EoF project has effectively integrated technological systems to enhance monitoring and conservation operations. Camera traps are used to assess wildlife populations and evaluate habitat management, while thermal-sensing UAVs help mitigate human–elephant conflicts. Collaborations with private sector partners have facilitated the development of AI-enabled UAVs and real-time camera traps, enabling immediate detection of endangered species, poaching, and elephant movements.
Facilitating knowledge sharing and capacity building among rangers to enhance their operational skills in forest and wildlife management technologies.
Summary and scope of work
We are seeking an experienced production company with strong capabilities in video production, including high-resolution video, interview, photography on the ground and bird eye’s view, and editing.
1. Pre-Production Planning:
· Collaborate with WWF Thailand team to develop the concept or creative directions for the video based on WWF’s brief.
· Develop an outline, storyboard, script, and shooting schedule for the video.
2. Production:
· Film and capture high-resolution footage and photography in the designated project locations, effectively narrating the project’s significant stories across all two sites including Kaeng Krung and Kuiburi National Parks.
· Conduct interviews with key stakeholders, including partners, local communities, government agency representatives, and WWF representatives.
· Coordinate with WWF on interviewee availability and obtain necessary consents.
3. Post-Production:
Edit and assemble captured materials into a final documentary video of no more than 10 minutes in length, with a 1-minute highlight version for social media.
Add Thai and English subtitles as separate versions. The English subtitles should be reviewed and approved by WWF before the final version is produced.
Include appropriate music, voiceovers (Thai and English as separate versions), graphics, and WWF branding per WWF communication guidelines.
Revise and finalize the video based on WWF feedback

Required Skills and Experience
Proven experience with portfolio in producing short VDOs
Proficiency in operating relevant kit (for both stills and video, including audio for interviews and soundbites)
Experience working in challenging and remote locations
Strong portfolio demonstrating track record of delivering high quality content
Familiarity with conservation and environmental issues is an advantage
Experience with using drones and ownership of a drone is a strong advantage. The drone must be properly registered, and the operator must hold a valid license.
The successful candidate should have their own equipment and appropriate insurance.
The consultant will adhere to WWF’s Photography & Caption Delivery Guidelines.
Functional competencies
Ability to craft a narrative that resonates with target audiences, using storytelling to convey the significance of the project.
Strong skills in high-resolution videography, photography, editing, and post-production, with experience in creating impactful visuals and integrating elements like music, voiceovers, and subtitles.
Proven ability to work collaboratively with WWF’s communications and project team members, ensuring smooth planning, capturing, and production aligned with the project timeline.

Payment Terms & Instalments:
1st Instalment (40% upon signing contract)
2nd Instalment (30% upon fine-cut delivery within 15 November 2026)
Final Instalment (30% upon final delivery within 30 November 2026; payment will be made no later than 20 December 2026)
Institutional Arrangement
The consultant will report to the WWF Thailand communications team and collaborate closely with the Eyes on the Forest project’s manager and team members.
