Eco-Schools Programme is an environmental education programme for sustainable environmental management in a school. There are more than 59,000 schools in 68 member countries around the world implementing this programme.
The Eco-Schools programme gives an opportunity for children to understand the importance of nature and environment, to learn about environmental management, and to make a change for the sustainable future.
The Eco-Schools programme is an international environmental education programme; offering a well-defined, controllable way for schools to take environmental issue from the curriculum and apply them to the regular activities in school.
The Eco-Schools programme is operated in 68 countries; sharing the same methodology and concept. The Eco-schools is identified by the Eco-Schools logo and Green Flag.
