The World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), Thailand Office, is seeking applications for consultants to support Tiger and Prey Monitoring using Camera Traps in the Upper Western Forest Complex.
The selected consultants will support field operations, including the installation, inspection, maintenance, and retrieval of camera traps, as well as assisting field activities in the project’s target areas.
Scope of Work
- The consultants will support field operations with the following responsibilities:
- Install camera traps in designated survey areas
- Inspect and maintain camera traps during the survey period
- Collect field data related to wildlife monitoring
- Support transportation of equipment and field logistics
- Ensure the readiness and functionality of equipment during the survey
- Retrieve camera traps and ensure proper condition of equipment after the survey
Qualifications
- Male
- Physically strong and able to work under demanding field conditions
- Able to hike long distances and work in remote forest areas
- Able to stay overnight in the forest during field operations
- At least lower secondary school education (or equivalent)
- No involvement with illegal drugs
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
- Responsible, punctual, and disciplined in work
Contract Duration 3 months (April – June 2026)
Remuneration THB 12,000 per month
